Still More Ancestral Cash Family Photos

Here are several more photos of ancestral Cash family members. They are part of the Family History archive assembled by my generation's uncle, DeRand Jones.

DeRand (1927-2002) was one of the sons of Carleton D Jones (discussed below) and began assembling family photos, documents and related materials in the mid-1940s when he was in college; we are the beneficiaries of his interest in the subject (click on the photos to enlarge 'em).

The note on the back of this photo says:

"W.G. and Mollie Cash [standing to the left of the horse]

F.C. [Fleetwood Churchill] and Leona and Carleton Jones [Leona ls sitting on the left, Fleet ls behind the horse, Carleton is the boy in front of the horse.]

Dessie [Cash] Spencer and Mottie [Cash] Noll [sitting on the ground between Leona and Carleton]"

Carleton, born in 1895, appears to be about 6 years old here, so if that's correct this photo is circa 1901.

These two photos are Mottie Cash,
who was one of Leona's sisters. ▼

She was born in 1877, and based upon her appearance these photos appear to be circa 1897.

This photo is Mottie and Dessie Cash, Leona's two sisters.
Based upon their appearance this photo appears to be circa 1907.

This photo of Leona Cash Jones appears to be circa Christmas, 1941.

The note on the back of this picture says, simply, "Jones" and looks like Leona Cash Jones on the right.

It's unclear who the girl on the left is, but she may be Leona's daughter, Mary Elizabeth Jones.
My guess is that this photo is circa 1922 if that is Mary, for she was born in 1907 and looks like a teenager here.

This photo is Hurd Noll, the son of Mottie and William Noll.

Born in 1901, his appearance here suggests that this photo is circa 1908.

We have a map showing W G Cash's two farms, totaling 120 acres in Belmont County, Ohio. Other Cash family members also owned significant acreage nearby as well. This photo, labeled "CASH FARM" provides a view of people feeding the chickens - and the way they dressed. It's unclear who the people are or when the photo was taken.
